Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ ThermoPro TP55 Digital Hygrometer & Thermometer: Jumbo Touchscreen, Backlight Monitor by Chris Benton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this product. Not so much with time!

Update: These [I have 5] seem relatively accurate at the current temperature and humidity. However, the readings for high/low temperatures are completely unreliable. I suspect this could also be true for high/low humidity, but I don't monitor humidity as closely as temperature, so I can't be sure. The high/low temp feature is one of the reasons I chose this product, so it's a real disappointment. I'll probably just live without the high/low feature like I did before I bought it. until they break. So I'm reducing my rating from 5 to 3 stars. Original: I don't have many of these yet, but so far I LOVE them! I wanted to keep track of the temperature around my home bird cage so I bought the same for other rooms in the house. I have a messy house with mostly wood heating only, so one room can be very different. I kept them all in one place for a day just to make sure they didn't have a huge difference in readings. All five display temperatures within one degree and humidity within 1% of each other, which is close enough for my use. The display is big. There is a backlight that turns off automatically after a short while. And it has 3 built-in mounting options: a slot for hanging, a fold-out leg for standing, or using the two included magnets to attach to metal surfaces. And it has historical highs/lows for humidity and temperature. I really only care about the last 24 hours so I'll probably just use that. So far I couldn't be happier. I'll report back when I know how long the batteries last.
