Journaling good for me

I work as an account manager for a tech company. Although I use my iPad for most things I prefer a written record for account meetings. I manage some large accounts and I have a book per account. Perfect in size to carry with my iPad but big enough to record all the information I need to.

Pros
  • This writing journal is sturdy with nice quality paper and a good value.
Cons
  • Very disappointed that some of my pages came creased/wrinkled.

Excellent journal book!

I have tried them all and this one stands out. Study and durable, it is fun to write on. The ink doesn't bleed through. The cover may scratch easily.

Very "wide " lines on my review.

It will do the job. I have to say I was dismayed by the width of the rule lines. They are very wide, if you have large handwriting this will work well for you- but this is not my style.

Sturdy cover/ spine, but pages are not very smooth

The cover and the spine are sturdy and hold up well. The individual pages themselves are nice and heavy (thick). However, the pages are not smooth at all and writing is not a pleasure as it used to be on my previous journal (Eccolo). The difference is like night and day. I use a TWSBI diamond to write, which would effortlessly glide on the Eccolo. On this one though, I have to make an effort (albeit very small).

Fell apart after a month

I used this for day-to-day note taking at work, and after a bit over a month the binding fell completely apart at the back flap and the notebook is now useless. It appears there was only two small sticking points between the pages and the cover. Disappointed as I had used less than 1/4 of the pages.

I had hoped this would have pages thick enough for my gel pens, but I won't be writing on both sides of the pages Thanks for attention!

Good quality sturdy

Good size works well for what I wanted to use it for. Keeping a daily journal of my events in the dispatchers chair. Thanks for attention.

Nice size, wide rule and good paper for fountain pens.

Nice journal for me. I like wide rule and I wanted a replacement for the book size one I have now. It's not my perfect journal but for my price range it works for me. A leather like cover and a ribbon to make your place and a hardish back works ok. I use fountain pens and the paper doesn't bleed or feather so far, that kinda surprised me because the paper looks cheap. I'm not sure yet how the binding will hold up as others have sited this as an issue, but for now it meets my needs well. I will…

Harmful chemicals good for me

I never write reviews, especially about something so basic. But I feel that anyone buying this should be aware that there is a sticker on the back of this that reads "this product contains a chemical known to the state of California to be cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm" and website for more info at the bottom. It is beyond irresponsible for this to be sold on any site.

Works for me: my feedback

I'm on my third one of these and I'm surprised at how many negative reviews I see of them here. I write on it with a fountain pen with a calligraphy nib using different kinds of inks and have had no problem with bleed through.The negative reviews are mostly about the quality of the construction. I'm not the one to depend on for a review of that aspect, as I use it only on my kitchen table, laid flat, and I store it upright when done. I like its size and number of lines.
