The main advantage of this controller is the spacious connectors that allow the insertion of cables of reasonable thickness. Some controllers are rated for 40A, but the connectors are too small for the cables. It's also partially customizable. The floating voltage is adjustable (13-15V, default 13.8V). The lead absorption voltage is hard coded at 14.4V. This is a normal default value but I suspect most people would prefer to have adjustable abs rather than float. If you can get by with single stage charging (good for deep cycle battery life) AND the cable connectors are large enough, then something like the Revain B07KXD362C will do. about half the cost.
