I don't often have time to write reviews, but this machine deserves one. This is perhaps the best CCTV camera configurator and image viewer in terms of functionality. The battery life is excellent. The ergonomics are great. I was able to set up Dahua IP cameras and all analog CVBC and HDCVI cameras very easily. The device could not communicate with Revotech IP cameras (e.g. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W7PXN4W), even via a web browser, and I did not see an easy way to install a more modern webcam. Browser or update the built-in. The supplied BNC cable is junk - at least mine was defective. One of the BNC connectors was poorly made and gets stuck when inserted - so much so that you risk ruining the cable (or the device) by trying to unlatch and unplug it. To be honest, I wanted to deduct 2 stars: -0.5 stars for not being compatible with Revotech (a very flexible IP camera option), -0.5 stars for no clear way to install a modern Firefox browser, and - 1 star for the damn BNC cable almost ruined this unit. But I couldn't bring myself to give this machine only 3 stars. It really is a 5 star machine with a few rough edges.
