
I share my monitor and keyboard with my work laptop and personal laptop. This allows me to easily switch between the two devices without having to plug and unplug any cables. I've connected a MacBook and a Windows laptop to the switch and they both work fine. It's nice that the kit comes with 2 HDMI cables and 2 USB cables, although the USB cables are a bit short. My mouse and keyboard are wireless with a shared USB dongle, both work great with this switch. I am happy with it and recommend it. If your computers are more than 2 feet away from the switch, purchase longer USB cables.
