I ordered 10 gross of these rhinestones to put on my daughter’s dance costume due to the cost and the good reviews posted by other customers. I wanted to post this review so that other customers realize what they are buying. I wish someone would have pointed these things out to me before I made this purchase. First of all, I have been using hot fix Swarvoski rhinestones for many years on my daughter’s dance costumes. I have to say that these rhinestones are a much, inferior product. Not only are they not as brilliant as Swarvoski rhinestones but these particular rhinestones did not all work correctly and were in various sizes or heights (so that they wouldn’t work with the hot/fix tool) – it was the rhinestones and not the tool! Also some of them I used after getting adequately hot (I always make sure that the glue on the back is starting to heat up before I place them on the fabric) – after I put them on the material they would just come off immediately. I would say that half of what I tried to use I had to put them in the trash because only half of them worked correctly or fit in the tool. If this were one of my daughters dance costumes that she had to wear over and over again then I would have returned them, but as this costume is for a one time thing, I kept them. I just want buyers to know that these ARE NOT SWARVOSKI rhinestones in any sense! I hope that this helps with someone else trying to make a decision before purchasing these rhinestones vs. Swarvoski.
