Review on 🌡️ Stant 48798 OE Equivalent Thermostat - 180°F Opening Temp, Medium by Pascal Santos

I'm not very happy that after a few months of running I noticed that it sticks. Sometimes the temperature rises to 215 and then suddenly returns to 190. The temperature seems to fluctuate back and forth, suggesting it's not opening and closing smoothly. I ran one of these a few years ago and it did exactly the same thing. The engine overheated while driving and then suddenly went back to normal. I traveled and stopped at Autozone and bought and installed a Duralast. One problem solved. I will probably use Duralast again.
