Good for one mattress or even two
Purchased for my son's bed which has two mattresses, sometimes thicker sometimes thinner and works in both configurations. The material is quite soft to protect the mattress and stretches well on all sides and I even tested it a bit with water and it appears to be airtight so can't complain about that. Of course it did have a bit of a "factory" smell on arrival but after the first wash it's completely gone and that's how my son likes it now and we like the extra protection.
