Review on DEWALT Diamond Cup Grinding Wheel, 4-Inch (DW4772T): Ultimate Precision and Long-Lasting Performance by Billy Mariner

After sending back the Temo brand mug because it was a piece of junk - poorly balanced and took less than two minutes to make - I order a Dewalt. It is excellent! I spent almost an hour separating the onyx from two different pieces of stone, one very hard, the other a little softer, and there was still plenty of raised plaque left. I will buy more of these. UPDATE: I've been using it for 5-6 weeks and I'm still impressed. After at least 50+ hours of hard rock grinding there is still a lot of grinding pad left and it just keeps chewing on the rock like the day I bought it. UPDATE #2: After almost 4 months of use, I noticed a crack. develops and goes from one of the radial holes to the outer edge. Stop using it in case it decided to fly apart. A bit messed up, there's still a lot of meat in the toppings. I bought another one and used it wet on my Makita grinder/buffer. It definitely gets rid of dust and even at 4500rpm it gnaws through rocks just as well if not better than 11000rpm on my angle grinder. A very impressive device!
