The top is definitely too big because I am a 32A, which is smaller than anything they offered, but I expected that and will be sewing in cutlets anyway. The bottom was supposed to be a small, but as other reviewers noted, it was actually marked "Medium." I have not measured it, but my hips (right at the hipbones) are 34" and low hips/absolute widest point (over butt), measure 37" so it's at the tightest setting of the velcro and it's fine. I also expected that from reading the reviews and it fit perfectly (& made it less complicated for me to get a belt that fit without swimming in a bra). Like any samba set (or inexpensive bellydance set, I'd imagine), it's bound to have some loss of beads/fringe with vigorous wear, but I'm also prepared for that! I got it as a quick, basic costume option for professional gigs while I'm still moving my stuff from one state to another, and it's absolutely usable for that. I'll be embellishing it more over time, most likely replacing the velcro with sturdy hooks, & undoubtedly doing occasional repairs, but in the meanwhile it looks great!
