Set this one down on the floor and it took my little calico girl all of about 30 seconds to hop in and get comfortable. Have put it on her cat ree and on the bed, all with similar results. She still uses her heated pad as well but this is a close second. Its probably big enough for two medium size cats if they like to cuddle. Cannot comment on cleaning it, havent had to yet. Wool isnt scratchy at all and feels kind of like a heavy ragg wool, should last ages.
