Recommended for schools or churches

I was looking for a good infrared thermometer for my daughter's school and I'm glad I got this one. We put it on a tripod in front of the front door. The quick read takes a second. I noticed that it can detect the temperature of an object about 5 inches away. The nice thing is that he can transmit the reading by voice. Also shows red when the temperature is abnormal.
