One of my biggest concerns with purchasing this wallpaper was if it looked realistic. Many times you'll look up the factory pictures and they will look amazing completely realistic and then when you bring them home they look fake and processed and not very good I can vouch that these do look realistic. It's not a very thick wallpaper as if you have areas where there is dark paint on a white surface you'll be able to see right through it however, if it is a solid surface all the way through one color you will not be able to see through it it does peel off very easily if you are careful. I would recommend if you are planning this to be a semi-permanent / permanent mounting to take a blow dryer and just quickly go over it to warm up the glue after it is mounted on the surface this should cause it to adhere much better not in all cases but in most
