Some of my woodwork has tight curves and small pockets around the edges, and these are areas I can't get into with standard stock cutters. Before I discovered Amana's mini cutters, I used Dremel cutters and Dremel mini cutters to profile edges. They worked fine for a while, but quickly got to wood burning because they don't have a bottom bearing, just a post. With its tiny 3/16 diameter bearing, this drill bit easily gets into tight spots without burning wood. The carbide-tipped router carved flawless edges on anything I wanted, from walnut to white oak, hard maple, and even hickory. Not sure how long this bit will last, but I've been profiling hardwood edges with it for a few months now and it looks just as good as the first time I used this bit. I like it, I will definitely buy more.
