I love this hat in navy blue (not quite as dorky as other colors?) - and it gives wonderful sun protection with the broad brim. Also, the drawstring, besides keeping the hat secure in wind, is also useful for keeping the hat attached to me (letting it flop down my back when I'm indoors), so that I'm not constantly losing it. I've purchased two of these so far, so obviously they work for me. I'm not sure if there is a way, when ordering, to give special instructions to the shipper, but whenever I order it again, I'd like to tell the person who packs it - DO NOT FOLD THE BRIM. The person who packed it folded the brim in half, so there's now an indelible crease down the center of it (adding needlessly to the dork factor, though not impairing function, at least).
