Great hat. I use it in the pool to keep the sun off my face and it works better than sunscreen. I purchased the khaki color and I do not notice any sun coming through the material. Love this hat! It protects from the sun, and it’s very comfortable. Its lightweight, and It’s easy to adjust the size. I love the soft, flexible fabric in the back that protects the back of my neck from the sun.and because it’s soft fabric, I can look up at the sky without a stiff hat brim hitting my back. I was so excited to receive this hat & then my bubble burst. (Disclaimer: It is difficult for me a find hats that I truly like). This hat is great if you are looking for something light weight and flexible. It’s not heavily structured so it bends to provide protection from any angle. I love the neck protection in the back and the hole in the back for a pony tail. This has been perfect the perfect hat for hiking, boating and even at the beach. I have not gotten a sunburn since purchasing this product! My only disappointment was the bow was just a string and not as big as the navy hat, although I ordered khaki.

Finally- a sun hat that doesn't make me feel like I'm either going fishing or look like a dowdy doofus! And it looks just as it appears in the photos, that's refreshing.I bought the black hat, so I can look fashionable while gardening. My husband remarked he thought the black hat was a bad choice for gardening in the sun as dark colors retain heat. I didn't buy it to be physically cool, I bought it to avoid UV rays and LOOK cool. That's what counts.

This hat definitely protects you from the sun and it’s cute. What I don’t like it that it curves towards your face, so it blocks your peripheral vision.

This is my go-to hat when the sun is out. It can be dressed up and is also perfect for an everyday look. The most adorable part is the back which gives it a girly flare without going overboard. I love the navy as it is a darker color that offers more protection from the sun but it’s also different from black. It goes with everything. Oh also it can be compacted to fit into my purse and still keep its shape (if I roll it into a cone shape). I absolutely adore this hat.

This is a great hat in terms of the sun protection that it offers. The price was right, which is why I decided to order one. I only gave four stars because the style of the hat is not very flattering. In fact, the khaki color that I ordered almost looks like a beekeepers hat! I purchased it to wear it on a beach vacation, but since it is pretty unattractive, I will mainly wear it to do my gardening the spring and summer.

I bought this hat to take on a tropical trip and it was fabulous at blocking the sun. I was in the sun a lot, everyday, and my face and neck never got burned once. It can be smooshed into a suitcase and still come out unharmed. It's also nice that you can wear your hair in a ponytail (to get the hair off of your neck, if it's hot) and then just stick your ponytail through the hole in the back. I love this hat!

I love this hat in navy blue (not quite as dorky as other colors?) - and it gives wonderful sun protection with the broad brim. This hat is exactly what I needed! I have fair skin and wear a hat a lot but wanted something with a removeable strap for the water, this did not disappoint! It stayed on in the windy ocean and dried easily. I have 4 out of 5 because the quality of the fabric could be better, it is inexpensive and feels that way. I also wish the khaki or lighter colors came with a bow like the dark colors to dress it up a bit.

The hat is great sun protection. I live in the desert and it is always sunny. I also take chemo drugs so need to hide from the sun. It is cool and great coverage.
