I have always loved hats but always had a horrible time trying to find one that fit me that wasn't outrageously priced. All of them in the stores were at the blanket One Size Fits Most. Mostly, I would be stuck shopping for a men's hat and even some of them were way too small.I developed sun sensitivity, and finally had to try to find something to shade me. So I measured my head in inches and centimeters and then went shopping on Walmart to try to find something that would provide good coverage without looking like I'm ready for shuffleboard at the retirement home.While the beige on I purchased a few months ago does look a bit granny-ish, the black one with white polka-dots has been a big hit. And it keeps the sun off me quite effectively. And neither of them are too tight for my hard-to-fit head.I may even have to buy myself a navy one.
