Glad I read the reviews and ordered a size up. We have a standard queen bed and a king bed fits perfectly. It drapes very well on the sides of the bed, which is enough for my husband and I. I think the size is off. If we had a queen, we would "fight" for cover all night. High-quality, inexpensive, easy-care, warm. We live in Colorado and it's just starting to get cold at night and that's enough for me, but I know I need another blanket, never mind. We got this to make the room look more put together and grown up and it was the only three piece set we saw for a reasonable price. If you get this, order now! Also, if you live somewhere where minimum temps typically drop below 50 and never dip below, this could be your winter blanket, no problem. Colder areas require a different quilt but then again we bought this more for beauty than functionality and it is a really nice quilt.
