I bought two because I thought they were noticeably lighter and I would need to replace both. Turns out you hardly notice the difference. So I left a spare in the glove box for next time. Some say you must change both even if one fails. The counter-argument is that if they have the same life, they can both fail at about the same time. I'd rather have just one mistake at a time. I used rubber gloves to keep the oil from getting on the bulb and shortening its life. Was for a 2006 Honda Accord 4 cylinder. Driver's side. I looked for a replacement. I removed the battery to gain access (10mm wrench). First unplug the connector so you can twist half a turn to remove the bulb. If people don't unplug first, they can't rotate the lightbulb, so they start unscrewing screws they don't need. The passenger side should be easier.
