Bought two and tried immediately. They don't leak in my 16 ounce, 20 ounce, and 32 ounce wide-mouth HydroFlask thermoses. To test them, I filled my HydroFlask bottles with hot water and hot coffee. Then I turned the bottle over and placed it on a paper towel. After 10 minutes - no leaks. Then he refilled the bottles and shook them vertically, horizontally and in a circular motion. I placed the bottles on a paper towel (on their side). Doesn't leak. The lid worked really well and I had no trouble drinking from the lid - it didn't get in my way. The lid is spring-loaded, so expect a small amount of dripping to come out when you open the flap. Lid. With HyrdoFlasks wide-necked flasks, the caps close very tightly. It may appear like the cap isn't screwed on tight enough, so go by feel rather than looks. I am very happy with it and have bought two more.
