I love this stuff. - Household Items

I bought this product about a week ago and have used it in a number of ways: 1) AS A NASAL SPRAY. Bought mainly for this purpose. For the past two years I have been battling a persistent sinus infection; Antibiotics helped temporarily, but after each course of antibiotics everything repeated. I bought a small bottle of nasal spray, poured the toxic stuff into it, rinsed it out, and then filled it 2/3 full with distilled water and 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. The result is a 1% hydrogen peroxide nasal spray that works great. I noticed a difference the first time I used it. It hasn't "killed" the sinus infection yet, but it has had a major, immediate beneficial effect on the symptoms. (In order not to damage my nasal mucous membranes, I make the mistake of using it in such a very diluted form.) NOTE. Some doctors warn against it because in high enough concentrations it can damage the lining of the nose. It can also accidentally get into your lungs like any other nasal spray. As such, anyone using it as a nasal spray should be aware that it may come with some risks. My alternative practitioner thinks it's okay, if not too concentrated. I use it at 1% and I already feel a significant improvement in my sinus infections. 2) AS AN EAR WASH. I like to spray some very diluted hydrogen peroxide in my ears once a week. Simply squirt a little from the nasal spray bottle into each ear, then drain. (I learned this trick years ago: Most cold and flu viruses can be stopped by regularly injecting a dose of hydrogen peroxide into your ears. If you have an infection, it will bubble and fizz for a few minutes as the hydrogen peroxide clears it away If there is no infection, there are no blisters.) (Again, I prefer a 1 percent solution so it doesn't irritate the ears.) Again, some medical authorities advise against instilling hydrogen peroxide into the ears. My personal experience is that when I catch a cold or the flu, just a few drops in my ear can stop it. I catch a bad cold or flu almost every year; In the years that I've used hydrogen peroxide in my ears, I've only had two colds, and they've been short and mild. 3) IN DRINKING WATER. Some people claim that adding a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide to drinking water is very beneficial; others say it's dangerous. Again, most doctors dislike this practice, but some naturopaths recommend it. Mine thinks it's fine if it's (1) food safe and (2) very diluted. This product is already so diluted (it's 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide) that if you put a few drops of this in a tall glass of water and drink it it's probably less than if you accidentally swallowed something if you use it as a mouthwash use. . . (If I were buying 35 percent hydrogen peroxide, I would use one drop, not multiple drops.) Remember, I'm describing 3 percent hydrogen peroxide here. If you buy 35% peroxide it will be very dangerous to use it the way I describe it here. (You have to dilute it with 12x more water to get it down to the low concentration I used.) Don't be a nerd - if you buy a more concentrated one, dilute it more heavily before using. it.WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS PRODUCT?1) This is a food product. It contains no harmful fillers, additives or stabilizers. 2) Most hydrogen peroxides have a slightly unpleasant taste when you gargle. This product has a milder taste. Tastes clean and fresh. 3) For the way I use it, particularly as a nasal spray, I wouldn't want to use the store bought version with stabilizers and other junk. 4) I like that it's 3 percent. 35% food grade peroxide is so concentrated it can burn your skin if dripped on you. This product is just as unconcentrated as most of us are used to buying from our convenience stores. Overall, I really like this product and would most likely buy it again.
