Well yes, it does look good. Especially when you consider what you pay for it. A lot of people say that it seems to disappear when painted, so I think we'll find out later. However, here are some tips if you decide to buy this stuff and install it yourself. Read the instructions carefully before you begin, from start to finish (well, there's only the front, not the back)2. Don't follow directions, throw them away.3. Yes, trim your nails and wash your hands, it can't hurt to trim your hair or put your hair back, you don't want your hair to touch this material or it will ruin the paper. It's probably a good idea to dress in either bubble wrap or a hazmat suit if you have one handy. Measure twice and cut once, slightly longer than necessary, then discard that piece because it is torn, then measure the second piece once, then repeat the process.5. Be sure to wet this material to activate the adhesive and allow 5 minutes for the water to soak in to ensure proper adhesion6. Whatever you do, DO NOT let these things get wet. 7. Before you lift it up to put it on the surface, add a wet single-ply wipe as a support pad to keep the paper from tearing.8. Tear gently, I mean put the paper back in place. It will just stick where you want and move where you want, don't engage in the newspaper's psychological mind games, be a big person. Gently smooth out any bubbles. It is very nice when glue oozes out from under the paper. Don't forget to glue everything in the room including yourself (remember I said to pull your hair back), don't worry it won't be difficult. Let it dry a bit before trimming off the excess. However, DO NOT touch it. But use a sharp, straight edge to hold it while you try to cut it. If a straight edge reflects light onto the paper, it will tear, so muffle the overhead.10. Only use a new razor blade to cut off excess material. Or use your shoes, you'll get the same cut anyway. Don't worry you can't predict where it will break or why it will break, the water you shouldn't have added sooner turned this stuff into the Shroud of Turin.11. Gently flatten the paper and press the edges firmly to ensure a snug fit, but do this with osmosis or ask a neurosurgeon friend for help as this material is now more fragile than your family. 12. Everything is done. leaving. Just walk away. When it dries it will look better. I'm surprised it hasn't shrunk more and I'm hoping a coat of paint will give it a more finished look, but I wouldn't be surprised if touching it with a brush makes it fall apart.
