can't say much about durability as i installed them today but as soon as i switched on these leds they were day and night compared to the old halogens. Just got back from a test ride and can honestly say they definitely make a difference when riding at night. I just recently bought a 2011 Cadillac Escalade, I haven't had a chance to test drive the car at night to see how the headlights work because the dealer doesn't work at night, other than that the car was great so I took it. I got license plates for the car and shortly after took it for my first night drive (it turned out to be a rainy day/foggy night). All I could say about regular fog lights was that they posed a hazard not only to me but to other drivers on the road, halogens didn't illuminate the road, and driving at night was essentially blindfolded driving. I knew I had to do something about this problem. I looked up the size of my fog light which was an H10 9145 bulb and I heard great things about HID and LED. I had and have tried both but just stuck with LED as they were plug and play and didn't turn on unnecessarily HID type wiring and ballasts. This was the first product that came up in my Amazon search and the one with the best reviews, so I ordered these bulbs through Prime and received them in less than 48 hours. When I received these bulbs I noticed that they are built just like halogens but with LED filament. It was a direct install, went under the front bumper, pulled out the old one, put the new one in, then did the same on the other side. I am absolutely amazed at the brightness of these bulbs and hope they will last the life of the truck. Make no mistake by increasing your safety and improving the look of your car or truck! A+
