I would not put it at home
Easy to apply, adhesive sticks well. It's also easy to trim to fit the area you want. However, it appears to be a thin (about 2/3 the thickness of cardboard) sheet of plastic. No true realism. However, it offers splash protection; So I place it behind the sink in the garage to protect the painted drywall behind it.
