About the edit: First of all, I would like to apologize if my initial review misled you into buying this piece of junk. I didn't know it would fail so quickly. I got it for free as part of a promotion, so I don't have any money. However, I need an MP3 player that lasts. Any suggestions? I bought this MP3 player in November 2019. The warranty is no longer valid, so there is no way to solve the problem that I have to knot the charging cable to connect the connector to the charger. The port can become completely unusable at any time. Somehow the device is completely unreliable, so I'm without an mp3 player. I need an MP3 player, I am very disappointed. I keep my stuff until it dies instead of buying new stuff. I recently got rid of my iPhone 4s, which required an external battery to run. My Sansa Fuze lasted almost ten years before I replaced it with a Soulcker. My old Aluratek LIBRE also died recently after years of use, so I need a new e-book reader. too much of. Pooh. I fear they will all be like Soulcker: BUILT TO FAIL. No wonder it could be given away. _____________________________ I bought this MP3 player for two reasons: 1) I needed a replacement urgently. All I have now is an ancient iPhone with no capacity that requires an external battery. I haven't uploaded all of my songs to it yet, but so far I'm impressed. The device itself is small but heavy, which tells me it's built to last. The interface is intuitive once you understand that the screen is touchless and songs can be easily transferred via a USB cable. The second reason I bought this MP3 player is to play the accompaniment through my Powerwerks PW50 amp via Taotronics. Bluetooth receiver. I am currently using an old iPhone 4s with no capacity that needs to be plugged into an external power source to work. Because it's so packed with other stuff, I can only fit a few backing tracks on it. Not only is it a relief to have a device that actually works, but the sound quality is much better than the iPhone. Last night I annoyed the neighbors longer than usual with my singing. ;) I look forward to uploading all my music in the coming days. It's great to have a digital music player again!
