Review on ๐Ÿž Organic Bamboo Bread Box: 2-Layer Storage Bin with Clear Front Window and Tool Drawer - Ideal Bread Container for Kitchen Counter, 15.7" x 15" x 8.7" Dimensions by Elizabeth Silva

Neat box, with a few imperfections.

Neat lunch box. Most of the structure is made of bamboo, although the lower shelf is made of fiberboard with bamboo veneer. Assembly was fairly easy and took about 20 minutes. The box is relatively solid, although the front door is a little on the weak side. After assembly everything wobbles a bit and I couldn't adjust the tightness of the screws to get it to sit flat. I had to bend one of the legs a little to keep it from rocking back and forth. The size is pretty good, although it could be a bit deeper to accommodate two loaves of bread. The dimensions were clear in the description, so it's certainly not a quality issue, just an observation. What disappointed me the most about this box is that the front door is plexiglass, and it's very thin plexiglass, not glass. The window already has some scratches and blemishes when unpacked, and it seems that the protective film was not on the panel when it was shipped. It's not a big deal, but it definitely makes the box look cheaper than it looks. The drawer underneath the box is a nice touch, but it's very narrow and I had to smear the rails with a bar of soap to keep it sliding backwards. - and further. It seems to have something to do with how tight the bolts held the frame together. It works, but it's a bit rough and it doesn't have any stops, so it's easy to pull the door all the way out of the box if you're not careful.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • It makes me nervous
