These lights are well rated ("Best Overall" on BobVila.com), and that's what brought me to them.I was also looking forward to the Lutron Caseta line of dimmers and purchased the PD-6WCL model.At first I was disappointed as I too experienced the initial flash that others' have reported, and neither the online support from Lutron or Amico seemed able to assist. Subsequently dimming the lights or turning them off and on worked as desired, but if left the lights off for a few minutes. they next time I went to turn them on there was a bright flash, the light went off for second then started to work normal again - annoying.BUT, then. I think I may have figured out a solution.What worked for me, was to adjust the "Low-End Trim" on the Lutron PD-6WCL.1. Press and hold both the On an Dimmer Down buttons for 6 seconds (status LEDs on the switch start flashing)2. Press and hold the Dimmer Down until the lowest setting is reached3. Press the Dimmer Up 9 times {you may be able to use less, I picked 9 as the Amico specifications state the lights are capable of 10% dimming. I assumed that the lowest dimming setting was 1% and pressing Up 9 times would get me to 10%. I'm happy with 9 and did not continue to experiment.}4. Press and hold the Off button until the status LED stops flashing, to Save the settingsEverything seems to work as desired for me now, and I hope this helps you if you're experiencing something similar.
