spent $40. Peach sandpaper.

I thought "matt" and "peach" meant softness. They got rave reviews! They were soft in the packaging before washing. That's why I kept them. I'm a girl with a 2 sheet set so it took me a few weeks to be ready to prewash and use this set. They felt nice after being tumble dried but not as soft as before washing. I don't care about wrinkles at all. If you've read about sheets, the lack of creases means they lose some of their softness. All the sheets are crumpled and no one sees them but you. I used them for the bed and pillows. After 1 night I thought ah, for $40 they are ok. But after sleeping on it every night, they got rougher and rougher. After a few nights I had to change my pillowcases because they were like peach sandpaper on my face. I left the sheets because making the beds is a lot of work for me. The return period expired before I realized I just hated them. If I could find the package I would try to contact the company but I'm afraid it's $40 down the drain. If you like really soft percale, find something a little less thick, stop worrying about wrinkles, get a single ply cotton that's at least 400 thread count, and spend $80. (They go great with the bed and 3" memory foam topper and stay in place. This is the 1 piece I liked.)

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
