I thought so. The front brush bristles are extra protruding, making it easier to reach wood corners and under my fridge and stove. The bristles are also of decent strength = not too soft. The handles and shovel feel nice and sturdy and crisp. The brush doesn't pinch or bind in the dustpan handle - if that's what you're looking for, you probably need one of the cheaper, thinner, and lighter ones. I think the rugged style is worth having two just the way it is.
