I hunted and hunted for the perfect purple dress for our very small intimate beach wedding last may. While on my search I stumbled across this dress . It was definitely the right price and I was looking for pretty and elegant looking without an elegant price tag. When it arrived I was initially a tiny bit disappointed because I didn't realize the fabric was like a mesh for the entire dress and the white floral embroidery was not sewn on completely so the edges were rolled up. I was really worried about the length as I'm only 5'2" and it looked very very long and un-hemable. I am very big busted so I followed the size chart to a tee. I know this is starting to sound bad but let's move on. I put the dress on.I was really impressed with the color of the dress! It was exactly as shown in the pictures and that was one of my biggest worries! Much to my surprise it was a little too big, just loosely enough that I was constricted at all but it didn't really offer support. Usually when I follow size charts they are to small in the bust! It is perfect for backless bra or bra-less as the back is sheer mesh. It was a little too long but that made it flow beautifully across the sand with my bare feet. The rolled up white floral smoothed right out after hanging it in the bathroom while I showered and the dress looked stunning in photos . While I was extremely worried the only reason it gets a 4 star instead of 5 is because I wanted it to fit snug when following the size chart and it was loose. Side note: I didn't have to pay for dry cleaning as I tossed it in the washer when we got home and it came perfectly clean and undamaged! If I can find pictures of the front I will update my review with them!
