I highly recommend it, but glue and strips are two different things.

For me it was legal. I edit with a Roland GX-24. The glue and cutting strip are supplied separately so you need to take the time to apply the glue correctly. I will repeat them again and again. If you have good hands you shouldn't have any problems.
