Review on πŸ“Έ Enhanced Drift Handle Bar Mount 2.0: Secure and Versatile for Ultimate Action Shots by Chris Barreto

Mine tends to sag

I use my rear facing security camera mount while lying down. No matter how hard I try to tighten the screw in the middle of the photo, I end up on a bumpy ride only to find that the camera has rotated forward and is now capturing the ground behind me. I solved the problem with rubber. Strap to apply downward pressure on the back of the camera. It seems this is enough to keep the camera lens from "hanging". I also had issues with the included rubber pads designed for the "ring" that tightens to secure the mount to the bar. The pads came as separate items with adhesive material on one side to secure them in the ring. The problem was that when I tightened the ring enough to prevent the mount from moving, the pads "spread" to the side. Instead, I increased the stem diameter using pieces of the old tubing and tape so I could tighten the ring without using the spacers that came with it. So the mount didn't really convince me. But after the hacking steps above, it seems to be working quite well.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
