Review on IPELY Detailing Magic Cleaner Clean by Robert Larris

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More plastic than clay, which is great!

I love this tone. It's a little more plastic compared to other 'named' brands. But as a professional detailer (20+ years). It's really decent quality. A little difficult to use in cold weather but when warmed up. That's great. Ideal for removing road dirt (salt, tar and iron deposits). I'd say it gets the job done a little quicker than the other putty I usually use. Another remarkable fact that struck me. It doesn't stain the clear coat as much as other brands. That is, if your color is good enough to start with. A simple wax is all it takes to achieve the slippery wet look everyone dreams of. Other clays often need some thinning or buffing to correct what the clay did to the clear coat. So far this tone has been very gentle on the dozen cars I've used it on. Although I paid for it and didn't get any compensation. I would like to try other products from this company/seller. For cars I deal with in Ohio. It was a very pleasant surprise that it worked better than the more expensive brands. I highly recommend you try this brand. And to help those who don't know good techniques, use clay. Wash and rinse car thoroughly. leave wet With fresh soap and water. Lather the entire car (soap car does not stain if it dries before the final rinse). With a soap machine and clay in hand. Work modeling clay into the surfaces (start at the top and end at the lower sills, also works on glass). After each sheet, knead the clay (or roll to reveal fresh clay). Add soapy water to always have a damp, soapy work area. Don't worry if the areas you applied the clay to dry out, the car will eventually wash up. You'll know you've done a good job when you don't feel any residue left on the paint when you run your wet hands over the surface. After leaving, the car is rinsed and dried. Assess the amount of scratches or cobwebs and polish/wax with your favorite products.
