Custom fitted replacement water inlet valve for my Whirlpool GU2500XTPB6 dishwasher
I have noticed standing water at the bottom of the dishwasher tub which was drained using the cancel/drain button. After a few days the water flooded the bottom of the tub again. This problem was caused by a water inlet valve that started leaking when the dishwasher was turned off, allowing water to fill the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Replacing it with a new valve was easy and solved the leakage problem. Let's hope the new valve lasts as long as the original.
