Review on 🍦 Retro Style Cream Blender by Smeg BLF01CRUS, 48 oz Capacity by Leonard Herrera

This blender looks good but works no better or maybe worse than a cheap Oster or Hamilton Beach blender. I couldn't resist the beautiful shape and now I have two of these that didn't work well when fully functional and stopped working within a year of purchase. The plastic gears are not suitable for everyday use, the o-ring in the jug cannot be replaced in case of problems (ours leaks, although we collected, cleaned and reassembled) the jug lid has a cut-out so that you can add ingredients during mixing . theoretically . it cannot be removed while the lid is on the jug), the setting markers are all erased so you have to guess which setting you are on. I have both a Smeg toaster and kettle which I highly recommend. If you can live with the advent of blending technology or Vitamix, I'd prefer one of those over Smeg.
