Review on OXO 10 Piece Airtight Storage Container by Laura Crawford

It's a waste of money

Let's face it, you're looking at them because you have an obsessive desire to see things neatly folded, utility to hell. So even if you are not really interested in my review as it is obvious from the picture that they can be folded neatly, I will give it to you straight anyway. .1 - Do you want to store flour, sugar and other baking ingredients in loose bags? Well, you need to buy several sets as there is exactly one container that will fit a sack of flour. Good luck with the rest. 2- Speaking of flour storage, you know how it gets recalled from time to time due to some kind of contamination? Well, if you dump your flour in one of these containers, you throw away the packaging with the label attached and you lose the important information you need to know if your flour is affected by a recall. You could have at least put little sleeves on it to include cut out labels so you could track that information, but they force you to buy them once they're sold. 3 - Speaking of flour, you know how to take a bag with one hand. Flour? Well, unless you're an NBA player with arms that can easily squeeze a basketball, you need two arms to carry a basket of flour. It doesn't have a handle, it's an unusual size, and the center of gravity is completely shifted to perform the basic "baby in one hand what you do in the other hand" technique that parents become experts at. I think you can throw in other ingredients. like chocolate chips or shelled nuts in some other containers. But they don't fit in a box of cereal or a whole box of whatever else I wanted to pack in one of those baskets. So good luck to you. Enjoy your neat looking pantry filled with partial ingredient bins that hide the real bag behind as the whole bag doesn't fit in one bin.
