I bought this suport because I had double carpel tunnel surgery, which help greatly, and unfortunately within 2 years I started having hip problems, and started to need a cain to do any form of walking. I started to get extreme pain in my wrist and thumb muscle. I thought my carpal tunnel was coming back, so I went to the doctor and he thought it was arthritis, but I told him No it isnt. I dont think arthritis causes stinging pain that isnt in the bone. So while im waiting for a MRI I purchased this thumb wrist suport. It takes a bit to get use to not working with my thumb, but I find it really helps. Im thinking I have some how strained and injured the tendons in my wrist. So this is working for me great.
