Fixed problem on my 98 Regal GS. There was no heater on the driver's side and I knew it was a problem with the door. The swap was easy, but there are a few things to note. Before removing, first note where the spindle is located on the engine block. If like me you forgot it, check out how to calibrate it. In my case I centered it in relation to the sculpted cog on the back of the case. Then I pocketed it but let it hang by turning the AC up and then turning the car off. Installed, has been working flawlessly for a month now. A larger ratchet is also useful for attaching to the spindle.
