Great for point-to-point soldering
Perfect for low current (signal) point-to-point soldering. Coating burns off in 8-10 seconds with a 400ºC iron and tins nicely with lead-free solder.
Pros
- Enamel is difficult to remove and requires a bit hotter of a soldering iron.
Cons
- The wire may be difficult to solder or otherwise attach to other components.
