Super easy after reading the simple instructions included in the box! I started installing according to the instructions on the back of the Liftmaster garage door opener and couldn't get it to work. I was desperate to give up when I decided to read the instructions that came with this opener. These differed from the instructions on the back of the opener itself, indicating the sequence of steps may need to be repeated. Presto, the remote worked on the second try. It works out! UPDATE: Six months later, this opener is still working perfectly!
