I called Lippert and asked how to put the wires and wires in the holes and they said not to cut the holders. They said to disconnect the wires and hydraulic lines, thread the holes and reconnect! Telling a beginner to disconnect or cut the cables going uphill and pinch off a hose filled with pressurized hydraulic fluid is just plain stupid! This is clearly NOT an aftermarket product, if that's true. In my opinion, any Flex Guard will fail (just like plastic has to flex all the time). Until Lippert comes up with a reasonable process, consider this an OEM product ONLY! I have a couple of broken Flex Guards that are "taped" with tape to keep them from hanging off the bottom of the rail or worse, buckling.
