Such bright colors! My kids really enjoyed getting them for Easter :) The triangular kite was very easy to assemble, just plug in 3 parts of the stick and attach the rope. It takes a while to get the kite airborne but once you get it up it floats well. My first mistake was attaching the rope to the side where the stick pieces were. Turn the kite over and attach the rope on the opposite side through the metal hole. - $8 kites in grocery stores. The material of these kites is like a fabric but looks waterproof so water that gets on them won't affect the flight. I'm impressed with the quality and love the fact you get 2 in this pack for extra fun :) The octopus is just as cute but my son was more interested in playing with the real octopus that looks like a kite
