Review on Stay Comfy and Protected: Konfidence Shorty Children's Wetsuit by Joshua Douglas

Beautiful! For reasons unknown, my son starts shaking about 5 minutes after entering our public swimming pool. Other kids seem fine for a few hours. Mine had chattering teeth and bluish lips within minutes. Decided to buy him a wetsuit this year and was looking for a few things including a high collar to keep water out, a slim fit for his slim frame and good looks. Debate between this and the O'Neill Youth Reactor. The fact that it was $10 cheaper didn't hurt, but I chose this one because it was 3mm thick and I knew my son needed all the warmth he could get to make our trips to the pool worthwhile . It fits like it was designed for him. He is a tall 5 year old boy, 47 inches tall and weighs 47 pounds. Bought him a size 7/8 and couldn't be happier. It probably won't fit him next year but I don't think wetsuits should be bought with room to grow. will not work as effectively if there is a lot of free space to fill with water. UPDATE 7/18/17: I was wrong. It suited him next year and it still fits him a year later. My son is now 7 years old, weight about 52 pounds and height 52 inches. He doesn't wear it as much as he used to, but I still wear it anywhere there is a swim. Luckily I had it last weekend during my stay at the hotel. He started shaking within 30 minutes. Dried out, put it in and I was amazed it still fit. To be honest it probably fits like it should and used to be a little big. Will buy 9/10 next year.
