Review on 💧 TruePower 09-1701 Compressor Tank Drain Kit with Clog-Free Discharge by Keith Morris

The kit was installed on a new 60 gallon air compressor and it did not work properly. The first problem was the plastic hose that had to be screwed into the pressure switch line. The hose continued to deflate at about 60 psi. I would abort and try again but to no avail. After 6 attempts to keep it connected, I replaced the plastic tubing with copper tubing. Of course, this also included all the new equipment. Everything worked fine for the next two days, but then the automatic dump valve wouldn't shut off and kept blowing while there was still some pressure in the tank. I removed it several times to see if there was any debris that would prevent the valve from closing. Eventually I gave in and removed the whole thing and replaced it with a manual valve. I do not recommend this auto drain kit.
