As soon as I bought it and turned it on for the first time, I was frustrated because my previous headphones (the wired ones that came with the phone played better). I wanted to try to take them back to the store, or I wanted to exchange them for some other headphones. However, after watching a video review, I learned that the speaker membranes do not immediately play as the manufacturer intended them to; rather, at first they need to be pumped, warmed up, and in general, they require a run-in period. I learned this information after listening to a comment made in the video review. I pushed the idea of turning around out of my head and focused instead on what they were saying. Guys, after a brief period of time, I started to derive a great deal of pleasure from the music. The ability to block out noise is quite impressive. The sound is great in its own right. I am a fan of rap as well as other genres of music, and I can vouch for the fact that not only are these headphones appropriate for listening to any style of music, but that they also offer good value for the money. The design "with wire" is a point that has generated a lot of debate. If you bend your head to the sides a lot, the headphones may "climb out" of your ear gradually over time; however, the degree to which this occurs depends entirely on the person. I specifically took it with a wire so that the children would not be able to help me lose one of the "ears" or eat it, but since I have two boyfriends, this is something that is really important to me.
