Although it looks like an OEM part the plastic is cheap and brittle. The OEM grip lasted 6 years and still works great. Two handles broke in two years. The company gave a guarantee the first time, but will not support it the second time, even if the error occurred in the same place. They implied that I had abused it. I'm an engineer and have designed and made similar castings for the automotive industry. I take care of my truck and its parts. Don't get involved like me. You get what you pay for. Buy an OEM grip from Toyota and it will last a lifetime.
