It may be helpful to keep that in mind as you read these reviews.I desperately needed a better pair of insoles because, as a middle/high school language arts teacher and an event photographer, I spend a LOT of time standing and walking on concrete floors. Additionally, I'm constantly being challenged by my Fitbit friends to daily and weekend contests -- plus my living space has been constructed onto a concrete slab. Got the picture?My order of these insoles arrived today. I immediately inserted them into my New Balance walking shoes and slipped them on. Immediately, my feet began to sing! The difference is diametric and -- NO -- I hadn't been using a standard go-to brand of insoles.These Spenco Polysorb Heavy Duty Maximum All Day (the name itself is a great selling point!) fit into my New Balance size 10 wide walking shoes perfectly.I usually wear a 10 medium but purchased my walking shoes in a 10 wide because I knew I'd want to buy insoles for them; the wide allows additional space for the insoles to fit easily into the shoes and for thicker socks. However, you can trim these insoles to fit if necessary.With my walking shoes now this comfy, I am very much looking forward to tomorrow's photography assignment -- concrete floors and all.BOTTOM LINE: Buy them! They're hand washable too.
