OEM Tensioner and Pulley for 2006 Lincoln Town Car Executive L. Use a medium sized ratchet and a short extension to plug the square hole on the tensioner and rotate/loosen the belt. Remove the belt from the alternator, loosen the 10mm bolt to remove the old tensioner, place the new tensioner in the mounting slot on the timing case cover, hand tighten the bolt in the center and tighten , after aligning the tensioner tab with the steering wheel Home. Use the ratchet on the tensioner again to move it and put the strap back on and you're done. Motorcraft OEM part, no worries, no questions, no problems. I did this with a Michelin grooved idler pulley and a Gates belt to stop the little squeaks the 4.6 makes when the belt system is old. I also overhauled my alternator for extra security and it makes no noise.
