Very complicated installation

If you want to build a ceiling mirror where the ball joint has to be removed for installation, you have to check your head. To make matters worse, the wire for the Tun signal is threaded through the nut that holds the ball joint together so you can't reach it with a socket wrench, and it's recessed far enough that you can't reach it with an open-end wrench. That. and worse, the screw holding the ball joint is not attached to the mirror. makes it very difficult, almost impossible, to re-thread the nut you had to remove to install the strut. If I decided to complicate the installation, I don't think I could come up with such a design. The supplied bolts/nuts are not standard. 1/4 x 20. I don't know what it was, threw them away and bought some 1/4 x 20 stainless steel screws at a big store.

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
