Review on Karcher FC 5 Cordless Hard Floor Cleaner: Ultimate Full Size Cleaning Power in Vibrant Yellow by Ar Bl Srivastava ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly the product I wanted, the price and quality do not match.

The model is not for everyone. I will briefly tell you my opinion, to whom it will suit: - You have hard-surfaced floors that allow you to perform wet cleaning. - You don't have a lot of wires and small rugs. - You clean often. In other cases, it is better to opt for washing vacuum cleaners. Unfortunately, the purchase of this model completely disappointed me, in our situation it does not fit at all. We do not clean often, there are wires, small rugs on the floor here and there. If wires or a mat get into the roller, it stops and you have to turn it off immediately, i. E. gotta be more careful. Due to infrequent cleaning, dust clogs the dust collector very quickly and has to be washed out. It also does not absorb dust very well, often there are lumps of dust on the floor. So if you expect this model to replace a vacuum cleaner and sink - it's not. Even uncoated floors are best vacuumed before washing if they haven't been cleaned this week. On the other hand, if something is spilled, washing is not a problem. Tiresome to wash and clean after use. Yes, this is true for any washing vacuum cleaner, but this model is positioned as "quickly started and cleaned up." Everything would be fine, however, after cleaning, it is imperative to drain / rinse the containers + rinse and dry the rollers, and this is the time. Therefore, I advise you to buy an additional set of rollers. By the way, the difference between the regular model and the FC 5 Premium is the presence of an additional set of rollers and a different color. In general, I tried to use it several times and spat. I opted for the Thomas Twin Aquafilter T1 (successor to the Thomas Twin Tiger) - perfect for our needs.

Pros
  • Cleans floors well. Build quality. Long cord.
Cons
  • Heavy, with prolonged use, the hands get tired of holding. Often clogged with dust (with rare cleaning). Tedious to rinse and clean (see comment). It is difficult to clean under the tables, not all corners will be able to climb.
